I have trained and taught dozens of students and residents in the field of general surgery. In April 2023, I resigned from my position as a lecturer in General Surgery at Ege University to dedicate more time to my patients and provide a higher quality of service. Immediately after my departure, I opened my own clinic to provide personalized care to my patients. I perform my surgeries at private hospitals with which I have agreements.<\/p>\n
Development in education, training, and new approaches is a never-ending process in the field of medicine and general surgery. I have published dozens of national and international articles. With these articles, I believe I have made a lasting contribution to the field of surgical medical sciences. Although I am now in private practice, I continue my academic work, following new approaches and developments to better serve my patients. Furthermore, I have shared my knowledge with colleagues studying general surgery by authoring 10 chapters in various general surgery books. I have orally presented 78 of my studies at congresses on national surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, obesity surgery, colon surgery, gastric surgery, and organ transplant surgery, publishing my findings in these areas. I have also shared 108 of my studies as written presentations at the congresses I attended.<\/p>\n
I am currently providing services to my patients in the fields of thyroid and breast cancer surgery, esophageal-gastric surgery, colon and rectum surgery, liver and biliary tract diseases surgery, pancreatic cancer surgery, hernia surgery, and obesity surgery. I continue my academic studies enlightened by the knowledge I have gained in these fields.<\/p>\n
After graduating from medical school in 2009, I began my residency at my first choice, the Ege University General Surgery clinic, following the first TUS (Medical Specialization Examination) I took. After completing my residency in 2015, I continued my service at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital until 2018. Between 2015 and 2018, I served at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, performing surgeries in all fields of general surgery. In 2018, I returned to the clinic where I was trained, Ege University’s General Surgery clinic, as a Lecturer.
