2. Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is applied during the procedure so that the patient does not feel pain.
3. Types of Biopsy:
   • Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNA): A sample of fluid or cells is taken with a small needle.
   • Core Biopsy: A tissue sample is taken with a larger needle.
   • Surgical Biopsy: All or part of the suspicious tissue is surgically removed.
4. Evaluation of Results: The sample is analyzed in the laboratory and the results are usually available within a few days.
