Recovery Process After Gynecomastia Surgery
The recovery process of gynecomastia surgery is usually fast and carries minimal risk of complications. Patients can return to their normal lives within a few days after surgery. However, there may be swelling and bruising after surgery and these will resolve within a few weeks. Patients can usually return to work within 1-2 weeks, but are advised to avoid heavy physical activity. After surgery, patients may need to wear a special corset for several weeks to support the shape and structure of the breast.
